For real though, we'll never get compensated. Who would you take the money from? And who would the money go to? You can't claw back wages from federal employees who were working on the investigation for years. Even if you could claw that money back, it'd just go back to the government to spend on something else. Our taxes won't go down. We won't get a rebate. Best case scenario is it reduces the USA debt a tiny bit, but that's a drop in the bucket.
