Interesting idea about the solar winds hack and the election. Long read above re: how the hack was done. Interesting to note almost at the end of the article mentions a former solar winds employee that worked there and left in 2017 had the last name Trump. I wonder if he was a sleeper?
Question for anyone that knows: what companies contract with solar wind? And what kind of software is a Orion? What companies use it?
Solarwinds is a software company. They make network and server management/monitoring software. Orion is the platform all these different software tools run on. Any business with a few offices (or a bunch) networked together would find them useful. Iām a network admin and use it every day.
