Sitting here in the spring evening limelight chatting with my wife. We are both awake and aware.
The thought occurred to me as we were discussing the plight of many things... the road ahead is still so long. It is difficult to be an Anon and to be aware... to be awake... and to know that so many people still need to start to awaken.
It's like we are very far ahead in this marathon, and people are still getting their running shoes on at the starting line.
So I thought I would share this... keep in mind that many still need to make the journey and that means they need awakening, which means things need to happen that seem preposterous, so they awaken. And our job is to keep the faith and to endure, and to look for the light at the end of the tunnel.
God speed, Frens. Hang in there.
Agreed but I know people who are blissfully ignorant of politics. The closest they come is to refuse to drink Bud Light. If they catch any news it's generally from a local radio station between songs. Others I know consider themselves academically elite and therefore so woke as to still be wearing masks, they and their kids are boosted up the wazoo and fully 100% Democrat.
The only thing that might cause them to blink is a loss of their University teaching position, loss of their private practice, loss of their family trust fund. The fact that some of them or their kids have had re-emergence of cancer after getting C19 shots certainly didn't wake them nor did the price of gas since many take public transportation or ride their bikes to local universities. These wokesters still have BLM signs in their yards. They all put out yard signs for Dems each election but never an American flag. I'm one of 5 in my area of perhaps 100 homes that fly the flag.
I feel like a salmon swimming upstream. I have been waiting, watching, and praying for the storm to happen since before Q. I try to take solice in Luke 22:42 praying God take this cup from me but not my will but his, be done.
I fly my flag upside down these days. It's started a number of good conversations.
