Arizona Legislature just passed H.B. 2613, which would have mandated voting machines used in state elections be made in America. This legislation would have required all those voting machines to have 100% of their parts and components sourced and assembled in the U.S. HOBBS VETOED IT!!!

Made in America has been usurped by foreign manufacturing anyway. We actually need to pass a law federally that in order to have the Made in America stamp of quality, everything has to be manufactured and fabricated through American factories and fabs.
Tough to do? Tough shit. We have to bring back manufacturing to our country, and it is awful seeing that stamp bastardized and perverted.
Absolutely true. I used to work on printers. The frame of the machine was made in America, but all the guts were made outside of America.
And I'd bet they use some variation of "Made in America", like "Made in America with imported materials" or "Designed in America", or "assembled in America"
Personally, I don't want to see "Made in China" stamped on just about anything.
I'd also like to see America bring back capacitor manufacturing. Right now the best capacitors are made in Japan, which is fine, but we used to lead the world in almost every technology.
