I stopped into a liquor store to pick up a bottle of white wine for a delicious white clam sauce I was making, yum. The store owner was stacking cases and cases of Budweiser products. He said, “It keeps coming and he has nowhere to put it all.”, I guess the distributor just keeps bringing it like a fire hose with no shutoff. And remember, when making a clam sauce “less is more”, the taste is delicate and easy to overpower. If you get it right, a little thyme, white pepper, sea salt, coriander and I like just a little fresh basil….. incredible.
