Needs an answer, STAT!
Pedes, I need to buy a safe that has to be secured in concrete or something similar. Don’t need a real big one, so not a gun safe. A few pounds of “retirement” will be going into it. I’ll need to have it installed. I’m in the southeast. Can you guide me?
If you live somewhere where flooding is a possibility.. I'd have to recommend against this. Safes can get flooded and mechanisms can rust.
I knew a homeowner that had one once. Thought she had 10s of thousands in there. It "broke" a few years back, but since she didn't need the money right then, she waited to get someone in to extract it and open it.
We did. It was empty.
Her boyfriend of several years back found the combination, opened it, emptied it, then superglued the mechanism to make it appear broken.
Ground safes, in my opinion, are a terrible idea.
Also.. don't put all your stuff in one place. Sometimes the least secure places end up being the best places.
