For those of you who don't think the Bible is applicable today, think again. Listen to what the wisest man in biblical history, King Solomon, said:
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 10:7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
We need to turn to scripture more than ever. I watched all 3 seasons of The Chosen in the last 2 weeks and it is life changing to see the story recreated in the way they are doing it. It's not a video Bible and creative liberties were taken but it is VERY accurate overall.
Watch that. Read your Bible.

I had known about it since it came out but never took the step to get the app and watch it. Christian content, unfortunately, has a bad rap for quality. Even for me, as a Christian. I couldn't have been more wrong about this one.
I've been telling everyone to watch it. Believer or not.

I agree with your impression of the general quality of Christian content,
but have to remind myself that the truth is the truth,
and fantasy(movies) is fantasy which is engineered to psychologically addict us to it's content, no different than social media, crafted search responses, or
progressively worsening porn where women start a God's beautiful creatures and are transformed into our own personal demons.

After watching the 3 seasons of the Chosen, I can't help but see the Satanic messaging in EVERYTHING (99.999%) of other content on streaming platforms. Reality TV. Everything.
Most people have no clue how it affects them.
