It is very simple. The criminal Thrives on gun control because he will never care if his stolen firearm is 'illegal' and will never disarm. Gun control is only good at one thing, making the citizen harmless sheep and Giving the criminal a wide open shooting zone (gun free) where no one is armed except him.
