Reminds me of this:
The bakers in Vienna saved the city from the Muslims. Underground where their ovens were, they heard the approach of the enemy and raised the alarm.
They invented the croissant (crescent shaped) to celebrate their victory! Delicious I might add.
AND the fleeing arabs left coffee behind, hence glorious Viennese coffee! What better to go with the croissants!
