Although these pictures are awful, it's the grocery store manager that found her true calling as a mask nazi, and the pedestrians crossing the street to avoid the unmasked that I remember more, and the few control freaks who tried to shame those who wouldn't mask up. Not to mention the hospital isolation wards, and the cowards who knew better but followed along anyway.
On the other side, some stores and churches never caved, and plenty of good people pitched in to help despite the propaganda. I was just thinking about the skateboarders who all came together with bucket brigades to remove the sand that the city used to fill their skate park. Good folks.
