it makes me wonder just to what extent that patriots are really in control. it's even more than we think. their reasoning for drawing this out to the full 8 year plan could have more objectives than just waking up the people and arresting the corrupt assholes. we're watching a movie that has more to the plot than waking up the people.

Fair and totally understandable, this is just an area I love to bible nerd into alot. Just understand that Revelation was understood by Early Christian Jews at the time very differently than modern churches view it. If you ever read the accounts of the destruction of the Temple and the city by outside secular and historic sources like the "Histories of Josephus" and other writings it along with correctly unpacking the symbolism thinking as a Jew of that age, it really makes sense sooooo much better than modern interpretations and silly things like lotus = helicopters and other HUGE stretches.

You raise a question though, who was Revelation meant for. Early believers, or the "last" Believers? Perhaps there are multiple meanings meant for different people all reflecting the same Truth, based on what age you are in.
