Has anyone heard of this theory? I ran across a tiktok video last night that suggested that, per the bible, one day for man equals 1000 years for God. Because of that, it took him 6000 years to create everything (on the seventh day he rested).
Based on that, the time for the start of creation to end is 6000 years and that the end of this 6000 year's is 2024.
Thoughts?
Here it's a YT link to the video: https://youtu.be/bjO1otDNbp4
Every year it moves up a year and "facts" come out to support the new theory.
Jesus said we don't know the day nor the hour. We might know the season. But keep in mind, the first church thought they knew the season, too.
Thus, just be ready and alert and don't worry about when the world will end.
Some think of America as "new Babylon".
God has been assembling an army.

I am proof.
I joined you march, 2019. I wasn't looking for it but it found me anyway. I didn't actively choose this tract but I'm grateful to be on it.
Isaiah 65:17 - “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind." repeated in Revelations Revelation 21 :: NIV. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. God rested on the 7th day, He will get back to work, be ready and fear not, He has given us all that we need to dwell with him, He laid it out for us in Scripture. There has been enough time for sinners to repent , there has been enough time to learn, the Gospel has been shown to all mankind in every corner of the Earth, those who do not believe or reject it will have a reckoning, the rest of us just need to stay connected and encourage those faint of heart.
My thoughts, since you asked...
The idea that one day is like a thousand years comes from various scriptues, 2 Peter 3:8. Psalm 90:4. It seems to me to be used poetically rather than descriptively.
Not having the bible referenced in the video, I can not assess the genealogy timeline it lays out. So, not enough info.
References to the book if Barnabas as a "lost" book makes me think it was one of the gnostic gospels, which I discredit at face value - but would have to read to see what it says and assess its truthfulness.
The whole idea of this theory indicates that we are in the sixth day, meaning God has still been creating this whole time. And I could get behind that to a certain point, but as it stands I don't think so. I tend to believe humans have been around much longer than 6,000 years and I take the days spoken of in Genesis to be "periods of time".
God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31, NASB)
Seems pretty self-explanatory. God created the earth (actually, everything) in six days. He rested on the seventh day.
The end will come when that very last person reaches out to God and Christ for salvation. God doesn't decide our fates for us but He does already know who is and will be following Him. The full compliment of the Bride of Christ has not yet been reached. Remember, it isn't about this world but the next one. This life is boot camp.

I think Israel has to rebuild the temple first and then the antichrist has to forbid sacrifices afterwards they set up the Abomination of Desolation in its place. Basically we're all going to be forced to worship a false religion or be killed.
Matthew 24:15-16
The biggest thing is this false image will be worshipped by everyone and people will get the mark on their foreheads or hands.
Heard this many many many years ago. GET RIGHT WITH GOD. Now's your chance people.
Neolithic sites dated much older then 12k years are being excavated in Turkey at this time.
Well then, welcome to the Suspicious Observers. Hours of video study condensed to this, the earth has a 12,000yr cycle with 6000yr events. The cycle evidence shows the earth falls over on its side with catastrophic tsunami destruction and lots of other fun.
Here for fresh 6k year info https://youtu.be/-wcIhh2LtuE
Where is the earth now on the Cycle? Peaking at the 12k and 6k. Where we at in the Bible video? Same fucking place, dayum. What we were taught in school is make believe, Santa Claus myth propagation.
Get to know Ben Davidson and prepare for a red pill to the next level.
6000 years? Demonstrably untrue.
