He's definitely a born salesman, but I think the damage these socialists are doing right now is so fundamental, it'll take a generation of good governance and good leadership to right the ship. We've simple gotten too deep in the hole. You can't reverse $31+ trillion debt over night. It's more than our entire economy generates in a full year. You can't rebuild all of the infrastructure we've ignored for 50 years overnight. It'll take a 10-15 years to rebuild the electrical grid alone, by the time we get the power plants we need up and running. And building the manufacturing sector back won't be instantaneous either. Anyone who's ever been in business knows you can't do it overnight. And we want small businesses as well as the majors, which means we need to teach a demoralized people how to be entrepreneurs, leaders, and risk-takers.
I'm not saying this to crap on anyone's parade, only to illustrate the situation. You can't solve a problem until you take the time to define the problem in full and think about how to tackle it effectively.
The communists have spent 3 generations now destroying this country and rotting every aspect of its people and culture. That's a wound that can heal, but it takes time. Look at Poland. Look at East Germany. Look at Russia.
If we're interested in saving America, it has to go beyond Trump. Trump's going to go away. We're going to have to take up the mantle and carry the work forward, each and every one of us.
So while I appreciate the sales pitch, I think we need to take an honest look at what we are buying into. We're not just fixing a leaky pipe and retiling the bathroom. We're going to have to renovate the whole house down the foundation, and we need to be prepared for that.
