We can never convey what they and their family’s sacrifices mean to us. This is what we should acknowledge for an entire month, not LGBQT and Black History. Because they and their family’s sacrifices knew no color, no race and no sexual orientation. They served and sacrificed their lives so we could remain free as a nation: One nation under God, with liberty and justice for ALL.
