Adding to the new challenges for ranchers and herders is a shortage of large animal veterinarians.

The flip side of this has repercussions too.

Lots of animal owners aren't going to be willing/able to get an expensive vet call and prescription for every one of their abundant farm animals [got a sick chicken or two?] and those animals will suffer and die from this ill thought out act.
