Specifically, despite the COVID emergency ending, you’re still required to enter your “contact tracing information” in order to come back into the US by air.
I had to enter this to come back into the states from Europe despite Congress/Biden ending the thing before I flew home. You are told you wouldn’t be allowed to board the plane without entering this data according to US law.
I’m curious to know if it’s only a Europe thing, like they know it’s coming from Ukraine, or if traveling from other continents requires you to “report in” as well.
I didn't have to do that when I flew back from Canada in November (on Air Canada).
Maybe your carrier didn't update their systems.
