Imagine if you will Biden gets 25th and we end up with President Kamala (just follow me here).
She’s gonna need to pick a VP and that VP is gonna need to be confirmed by both the House and the Senate.
The simple theory going around is the House won’t allow a vote on the VP pick, causing Libs to get out and either riot or get the vote out for the “first black woman president.”
I think it’s a little more complex than that.
What if the House and Senate are simply unable to hold a vote.
This is where copium comes in.
Dems 25th Biden, we get Kamala, she picks VP.
At the same time, the Freedom Caucus uses THEIR right to vote no confidence in McCarthy, he’s out as speaker. We now have no VP, and no House Speaker.
The Freedom Caucus isn’t gonna allow another RINO to become speaker, the RINOs won’t vote for Matt Gaetz or Jim Jordan. And with a House Majority, even Hakeem Jeffries wouldn’t be able to become speaker despite being minority leader.
THEN we have the Senate and Feinstein, and Fetterman being incapacitated in some way keeping THEM from allowing the Senate to vote on the pick.
What if it isn’t just the House and Senate not voting, but simple being totally incapacitated.
And all those precious seats up for re-election.
It’s not just another 4 year election.
Add one wrinkle. McCarthy is under fire for pushing a bad debt limit deal, and may not survive. So that chaos may already exist if the 25th comes up.
25th Section 2 Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
