Sauce would be nice from u/Maroon, as I've done searches on two different engines and can find nothing connecting Adm. Rodgers with poisoning, paralysis, or assassination.

Slight caveat that I may be mixing him up with another guy. I know that I saw an interview with the guy that was poisoned, although in hindsight it was during the start of covid so he may have been the guy who authored the law banning bioweapons research.

Edit: I'm actually positive I fucked up now that I think about it because I just remembered his name and it's William Benning (or Benny? I only heard it spoken).

I tried searching the name you mentioned and all I could come up with was William Binney.

IDamn, I was sure that was the right name. It's hard to look up things from even just a few years ago these days with the way everything is so sterilized. There's things I know I've seen that I can't even find a mention of anymore. I'll look into it when I have more time but I'm at work right now.

Still not 100% sure on this. Maybe I'm just wrong, maybe it's a Mandela effect. I could swear he said poison.

I thought there was no way they could scrub the entire internet, but I'm sure getting proven wrong.

Binney is probably who you were thinking of. There's plenty of interviews with him, so maybe he did mention poison in one of them.
