God is testing Bass. What's really, truly important for Bass? His baseball career or what he says he believes in? Remember Duck Dynasty? Phil Robertson was more than willing to walk away from fame and fortune rather than to bend a knee to the screeching mob. It wasn't about what Phil said, it was about whether they could break him. And they couldn't.

I get Bass's position, I truly do. He probably worked his entire life to be able to play in the majors. Plenty of dudes would give their left kidney to pitch in the majors. It would suck to give up that kind of money and a career you love, I get it. But when it gets real, where does he stand? Where do YOU stand? Where do I stand?
