Germany didn't exist as a "nation" until 1871. When Hitler rose to power, it had been in existence for less than 60 years.

WWI happened barely 40 years after the incorporation of Germany. And Kaiser Wilhelm and King George were first cousins and grandchildren of Queen Victoria, while Tsar Nicholas was married to their first cousin and was a fifth cousin himself from King Frederick of Prussia.

Half of Europe is STILL ruled by Queen Victoria's descendants.
