I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
Genesis 9:13-17 KJV
The rainbow was declared by God. The actual rainbow, the real thing. Nothing can change a covenant by God Himself, nothing. No depiction of it, no image of it, no painting or flag or t-shirt or sign or label. Those are not rainbows. Rainbows come to be after a storm and the sun shines through the droplets and prisms. God created the sun, the rain, the light, the phenomena of prisms are a sign from him. He did not create ink or paper or labels on beer cans. We still have it, everything that tries to copy God's creation is folly, like the child playing with the hose in the light who shouts, "look Mom, I am making rainbows". A child's folly. What are false images? - Ten Commandments …3You shall have no other gods before Me. 4You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath. 5You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me. So, I say, please, relax, it has all been taken care of. God has our back, and he has allowed people to make a choice between him and idolatry. It is okay to protest against it, but rest assured, no one has taken the rainbow from us, and we will see it after the storm, He will let us know that all is well.
