That's not actually what it means lol but it's a good point along the lines of get the beam out of your own eye first before you start looking for splinters in someone else's eye.

The verse means don't follow the same path as the wicked. Don't even stand in the same path (way). Don't listen to the wicked, don't stand with the wicked, and don't sit with wicked counselors. Bad company corrupts good character.
