When I was in the Navy, about 74-75, we were taking cord blood samples for some type of testing. We were told it was for a study. We also bagged up the placenta and sent it with the blood samples. Did it the year I worked in the delivery room. I guess this stuff could have been going on for a very long time. Or it was an innocent medical study. 🤷🏼‍♂️
