I love this. It's stigmatization, imo, on us, the everyday gals, who believe we are unattractive without it and more attractive with it. Can we not blame it on the media? The guys don't have to wear it, so why should we, right? So, why do I not listen to my husband when he says I am more beautiful without it? I need to rethink this whole thing.
no makeup means no makeup. its not an objection to looking whorish. its an objection to relying on industrial chemicals to deceive people into thinking you look different.
to each their own. some natural cosmetic products can be nice, especially for occasions. but the practise of applying a plastic mask every day is just nasty, regardless of how subtly and tastefully its done.

I don’t think most men are aware of how makeup even works. When they say they prefer no makeup, I think they mean whore makeup.

It's terrible for your skin.
I think one of the reasons I look younger than my age is that I don't wear makeup.
I probably would for special occasions, video, or a photo shoot.
But day in and day out, I like a little eyeliner (sometimes) and lip color. And then it's usually a tinted lip balm from Burt's Bees.
Beautiful skin starts on the inside. Skin is our largest organ. So I focus on feeding it -- preferably not with plastic.
