Came here to say similar. Affirm is to agree, care is an act of love or in this case health care. If Gender affirming care involves supporting or propagating a fantasy or mental health issue it cannot be considered care and should be defined as malpractice from licensed health care. You don't treat paranoia by telling a patient that its true that they are coming for you.
