I think you're right about the commando attack, but if I recall history correctly, they blew up a ferry boat that had tons of heavy water being shipped and sent it to the bottom of the fjord.
Unfortunately, civilians and children were onboard too. Bit it was critical to disrupt Germany's nuclear weapons program.

They attacked 3 dams in the Ruhr valley in Germany, the Möhne, Eder and Sorpe dams. I've been to 2 of them.
The bouncing bombs were developed by Sir Barnes Wallis and I actually had the pleasure of meeting one of his daughters many years ago.

Correct. Norwegian resistance blew up the ferry and 14 Norwegian civilians died.
