NY/NJ area. My husband said it's caused by the fire up in Canada.

The whole town smells like burnt wood and there is a foggy/smoky blanket that is covering the town.
Been told it is due to wild fires. Must have been one hell of a while fire.

Was up there last week, heard there were wildfires in South Jersey, maybe they spread?
It's those damn Canadians, first thier quarters now this 😁
