The officer's behavior also doesn't pass the sniff test. You don't have to have a detective's badge to know not to ask leading questions:

"Did you see weird lights in the sky" vs "Did you see anything out of the ordinary tonight?"

Another unanswered basic question after the month+ of investigative journalism that went into that piss poor segment: how many aliens were there?
