It is impossible for people outside of NZ to understand the stranglehold that the regime has on the minds of Kiwis here. The old seem to be especially brainwashed, even in the middle of summer the fools are walking around with the retarded blue masks on. I see adults in the middle of nowhere on bikes wearing masks. We seemed to have been especially susceptible to the brainwashing and no contrary views seem to be breaking through.
Our media was probably already the shittest in the Western world even before the Covid lockstep regime propaganda, now they are openly anti-freedom, anti-debate and gas-lighting anyone who doesn't follow approved narratives.
We have an election this year and all the parties are not even pretending to contest it, the UniParty is in total control. It is so sad, the NZ culture used to be the warmest thing you could imagine, all scorched away now. The only positive is that somehow I don't think we got so much of the death serum shots, we don't seem to be having the same degree of "suddenly" that seems to be happening in other Western democracies.
Last week the government rolled out this sinister Ministry of Truth anti-disinformation programme and no one is expressing any concern about it. It's disturbing to behold.
Wow. I am so sorry. I was there in the year 2003, and 2007 and I love it there. People were warm and intelligent. They were wonderful.
So now, everyone is zombies from your description. Is that right?
The best times were from the 90s through to about the mid 2000s in my opinion. We had the start of the evil sneaking in when the UniParty took over. John Key the 2008 PM was an out and out globalist and on the night he got elected he had pizzas delivered to the media outside his home - if that happened now obviously that would be a red flag. I should have realised how deeply suss it was that he was always hanging out with Obama in Hawaii.
The people are still lovely here, they are not zombies but I get the sense that they are ready to be switched back into the Covid fear mode. After the masks started coming off I started noticing again why I loved living among my fellow Kiwis so much, but when they had the masks on they really were cold zombies. There was much solidarity in hating on the unvaxxed and those that tried to point out the insanity of the pointless masking. I honestly believe there is a cohort of Kiwis who are dead inside and the Covid tyranny gave their empty lives meaning and a way to feel like they belonged to something bigger than their hollow, mindless lives. I fear that they are longing for the return of tyranny.
I used to blindly trust the old warm Kiwi culture, now I know it was an illusion. I know almost everyone I ever am going to meet is one press conference away from zombiehood. It is one of the saddest things I think I have ever experienced.
But I'm glad you experienced how great and beautiful it used to be here.
Hope one day soon it will be restore back to beauty. I afraid not in my life time though.
Sorry about that. I was there in 2003 and 2007
