I must be missing something here...my understanding is that the law prevents employers from mandating or requiring them to confront shoplifters. Isn't that a net positive? Employees shouldn't be required to put themselves in potentially dangerous situations over company property. Unless of course it's for LP/security employees. Or am I not getting this?
