You're not alone. Lol it kind of runs in my family. My own mom loved working on the farm working in the field she could drive tractors, and combines, her sisters did too. My mom could also drive semi, and she was foreman for a road construction company. She was also a great bookkeeper, and a cook. One of my aunts work for a construction company, another worked in a warehouse they earned good pay for what they did this was back in the 70s and 80s not normal jobs for women.
The only time I ever saw my mom cry about something she couldn't do was when she needed to hem curtains.
I do love to crochet, read, and I can sew sort of, well enough to hem curtains for my mom lol.
Oh I'm 57 I grew up being me instead of what someone expected of me. I do have dress clothes for when the occasion calls for it, although I'm much happier in jeans and a casual top.
