I have a different take on the arms left behind in Afghanistan. I think Trump (who had been negotiating with the Taliban for over a year) and the Patriots made a deal with the Taliban that they could have the weapons if they cut off the C_As opium supply and kept a tight rein on terrorist activity.
The sky isn't falling. Fear mongering id for the birds. And radicals. There's things to be mindful of, so you don't misattribute the things happening in the media and on socials, sure. But how many times do we come to the conclusion that if we maintain a balance of macro and micro attention to our lives, we are much happier and capable people. And although there's no promise of tomorrow, it's good to expect it and prepare for more birthdays and more exploring of this life we've been given in the greatest country on earth.

Also, they don't need to steal armaments. They make the armaments and/or have deals with those that do. Don't forget the corrupting influence of enormous sums of money and power.
