I beg to differ with Bellamy's wish... When I recite the pledge, it's to God and Country... NOT to the government... This country is a Constitutional Republic by the people and for the people...
So you read the article?
I read as much as I could stomach... I disagree with the author of the article because even though each state's sovereignty is ultimately the law of that state, it is still part of the US... I understand what the author is saying... However,, I have always viewed the pledge as God and Country... As for the government, I've always viewed them as servants of the people... unfortunately, they seem to think they can reign over us rather than serve us as they were meant to do... Cheers fren...
It kinda made me ill at first but I continued and it really made me think about it. He made some very good points worth thinking about. I don't think I want to pledge allegiance anymore.....just saying
And I will defend your right to do as you feel to my death... That's what makes us different than the demonrats and the rest of the world... Have an awesome rest of your weekend my fren...
After reading this article - it is my opinion that we "We The People" , need to construct a "Pledge of Oath/ Allegiance" that must be recited by every person that works for any law enforcement agency / any branch of the Military / any branch of any government agency - city - state - federal - to uphold the Constitution, and to acknowledge their "SERVICE" to "We The People", of America. ( not government. ) IMO , this would straighten out the mere beginnings of petty corruptions - that grow like weeds to the corrupt state that America is in now, at this time.
Different slant that what we all grew up on. Makes me pause...... Flag day is approaching and I will hang on my flag but I may feel different this time. Something to think about.

Know your flags.
“The petition asserted that extending the courts of ADMIRALTY, the law of the seas, in order to prosecute the Act undermined "the rights and liberties" of the colonists. So, the original “common law flag” was first raised over the Liberty Tree in Boston. The "rebellious stripes", as the flag came to be called, was the original flag used by the Sons of Liberty, and it had 9 red and white vertical stripes!”
Let this be the flag you raise and understand why you raise it as a flag of rebellion to tyranny and as a son of liberty. Don’t let them steal the pride and honor of our/your heritage.
Well School in CA already removed from school… Is that meant they did the right thing?
