If we look back, the direction President Trump and his team have been maneuvering the DS is unchanged. The DS relies on smears and lawfare to intimidate anyone who challenges them. They believe a person will give up when faced with this persecution.
The Trump Gambit has been to invite the DS to engage in lawfare and use the public forum it creates to incrementally expose them. Look back at the history, the Dossier, Crossfire Hurricane, Mueller, Impeachment 1.0, election lawsuits, J6 False Flag, Impeachment 2.0, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Georgia Special Grand Jury, Mar-a-Lago raid, Jack Smith.
It might be more likely George Papadopoulos was the first arrest that confirmed future direction, the direction, as discussed, was using the Deep State’s reliance on lawfare against them.
