Mike Pence makes 2024 presidential run official

Former Vice President Mike Pence joined the Republican race for president, taking on his one-time running mate, former President Trump. NBC News’ Dasha Burns is in Iowa talking to voters as Pence makes it official.

It's just another money laundering scheme. They'll get campaign donations, then drop out before spending them.

Technically they can't use the money for personal stuff, but there are all sorts of ways to use those funds to purchase power and/or influence.
