Seems plausible.

The indictment of President Trump is opening up a massive can of worms that I'm sure the Deep State have no intention of allowing normies to observe and form opinions on. We are seeing unprecedented amounts of distractions of late that are drawing the public eye.

Reddit is all a hive mind. If they are shutting down, it's because they were given marching orders to do so from high up the chain. Recall that Maxwell was a moderator over there prior to her arrest. I'm sure other high profile black hats are involved in the operation of Reddit as well.
