10th mountain question

I saw a troop with 10 mountain patch in central tx today. Not sure if this is rare? Would anyone else call it significant?

We have a ton of training sites in OK and tx including longest artillary range or biggest sandbox to play in. I went cross country multi times to use some range, field, facility or take some 2 week class, etc.
