What about the 80s music? there were soo many genres making alot of music. Luthor vandross, whitney houston , michael jackson, whispers, def leopard, bon jovi, , journey, weird al, heart etc.
I graduated HS in the mid '80s and I'd have to say the music was the absolute best part of the '80s.
I don't miss everyone around me putting such importance on what animal was on the shirt tit, or what kind of sneakers were being worn. My parents couldn't really afford for me to dress like everyone else, but Mom still bought me Levi's and the occasional Izod, Polo, or button down shirt for Christmas and birthdays. All that being said, I do look back fondly on the fact that everyone was trying to dress nice. Nobody was walking around with the pants around their knees, showing off their damn underwear.
Even seeing the videos of street dudes in the 80s they wore their pants up belt on. I was raised in 90's my community people did focus on designer but I was lucky my school was k-8 we knew each other only when i went to summer school with new kids is where they teased for not wearing designer .I also do miss people dressing up more I went to a non denominational church for easter i was the only one non casually dressed.
