Most people want to do the "right thing". If you have been conditionned to go along the cabal' s plans, you are charged to destroy your opponent if you think the "greater good" is worth it. This is why arguing is often limited. It's like they feel exonarated of the consequences of their actions as they feel touched a divine (elitist) legitimacy.
