80 Why do no oncologists talk about diet and ketosis in the management of cancer? Maybe because inefficient drugs make more money that willing to cut carbs? Food prices these days make it much harder to do keto/carnivore.
What I've done is limit calories to ~1500 a day and rely on intermittent fasting (I do OMAD) to keep insulin/blood sugar in check.
Where I'm at, a pound of ground beef is $5.99-$7.99.
Meanwhile, a pound of dried beans is under $2.00.
I still eat meat, but I supplement with carbs.
Beans and rice are a staple of mine.
Also, plenty of deals at the farmer's markets on fresh veggies. Meat is better quality but it costs even more, up to $10/lb for ground beef.
