This whole “a black man is near and people lock their doors” thing is such BS.

Here’s the thing - if the man were well groomed and dressed in a full, clean suit and tie, nobody would give him a thought, no matter the color of his skin.

Likewise, if he were a scruffy white man with a wife beater shirt and looked deranged, everyone would avoid him, again regardless of skin color.

I’m not saying that black men aren’t discriminated against more, nor am I denying that statistically speaking they have a crime problem…

But that’s entirely irrelevant here. There’s so much going on here before we even get to the discussion of race.
