As far as I know, chemical castration is temporary and has to be reinforced with additional injections over time. If the injections stop, it reverses and the testicles regain their function.

I'm surprised Belarus didn't go for the more permanent solution...snip snip.

Well it SHOULD hurt... and a LOT. Without anesthetic and using a rusty serrated bread knife. As a warning to other pedophiles they should be televised with sound levels turned up.
