The books.may.show that the readiness and support to fight a several front conflict ( salient point) is unfeasible. That should not suggest there is a lack of means and methods to put things right. But it sure shows that policing the world no longer is feasible. The advantage is that it is a rather potent argument against boots on the ground. .
The idea of a standing army is rather new, and came.about after the great war, and the second World War only enhanced it. All of.what we see today, is a direct result of the wrong footed Versailles Peace Treaty, and I dare say: the Peace treaty of Vienna.
Trade with everyone, no foreign entanglements is a wise idea.
