Well if you're inclined to believe Litecoin Bull and the Judges, Flynn's not good and was put out front by Trump to expose him. Another commenter points out Bill Clinton sent Flynn to lead Haiti integration in the 90s. Another points out Flynn is in the Pandora Papers.
