And now the feeling appears to be that the general public was strung along by the banging stories to distract from the Hunter Biden stuff. Either way it looks like one big clusterfuck, and since my son is a senior chief on the Gerald Ford [and I was a nuke on the Eisenhower] I am not going to bad mouth the Navy. They couldn't have really done anything anyway, and sub captains have superiors to report to.
