We have dogs now, but have had cats. Our cats were trained to stay in a chair on the deck. We have birds of prey here. Anyhow, I have a friend who can identify birds by their sound. I recorded one once and texted it to her, and she was able to identify it for me. Good luck with your endeavor. It is quite a unique skill to have. 😉

Every time one got out of the chair we put them in the house. Period. No second chances. Cats are smart. One little sweetie was a sneaky independent thinker…Kek..we had to watch her because she would slink off the chair and head down the steps. Then the chase was on. Kek.
