“infrastructure” the DC scumbags have been promising to fix for decades.
That's not so much a train derailment as a bridge failure & collapse. Can't blame the train for that. But it does point to a serious problem in America -- as if we needed any more problems -- a weak and failing infrastructure. I recently saw a special on Bridges in America, and thousands of them are rusting, missing critical support structures, and in just plain disrepair, making them all ticking time bombs.
I asked for opinions on two ideas. I didn't fall into any traps. Is it not possible that inspectors in charge of bridge safety are not the best they could have hired? The other option is that all that money a decade ago that was to be used for infrastructure repair was a scam.

Having the best is subjective to the hiring managers.
If someone could objectively get the best. Then every organization would have elite results.
We have to stop trying to act like finding great talent is an easy thing.
We also have to understand that even if you have good talent.
They still need a system and support team to excel/
When good ups like this happen.
Most likely it’s because no one wanted to budget to be proactive.
Only when it fails will they do something.
I don't know about the first but I'm pretty sure they just steal the money.
