If i was in that situation i'd rather go out fighting, then bow to the government's way out. Better to be taken out by the police after taking out a few globalists than to bow to the globalsts plan and have them mock you for taking the easy exit.
I do this all the time when the pillagers/illagers in minecraft try to make life hard for my villagers.
