It’s a decoy. People are playing right along. Misdirection at its finest and it’s working, so of course if something is working, it’s only plausible the person or persons of such action would be pleased about it. And I assume the military would be in charge of “the football” so…very pleased.

Kinda like if I carried around a billion in cash. I had a specific travel bag. I called it, the treasure chest. Now people know I carry this money with me. And everyone assumes I carry it in my wooden chest, that takes two people to carry it. I even tag it with a label that says “SAUCE”. In reality, do you think i would honestly do such a thing? Oh I’m gonna carry around a wooden chest that takes two people, and labeled. But it’s filled with my wife’s clothes or something. My money or “treasure” would never be spotted. And if someone even got close, I would change again.
