All the airlines are cancelling flights.

My son's vacation to see us today got cancelled last minute. Can't find another flight for a MONTH

Thanks yeah. Haven't seen him in a year. Same with our grandson. It is what it is, but certainly inconvenient for everyone.

This. My SIL said the same. She gave a litany of reasons for the cancelations, but I'd venture it isn't the smoke, but rather too many down pilots to handle holiday flights. So cancel most flights.
